Who we are
Liquid Drinking Planner ("the app", display name Liquid Intake) is developed by David Lindhard as part of the XXC.dk team ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app processes and how.
What data the app handles
The app helps you track your daily liquid intake. The information it works with includes:
- Intake entries — the drinks you log (name, icon, colour, volume in millilitres and timestamp).
- Your drink types — reusable presets you create, such as "Cup" or "Soda Can".
- Your settings — for example your daily limit and reminder preferences.
All of this is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database (SwiftData). We do not operate any server that receives, stores or processes this data. We have no ability to access it.
Apple Health
The app offers an optional two-way sync with Apple Health's water
(dietaryWater) data. This feature is off by default and only
activates after you explicitly enable it and grant permission in the system Health prompt.
- When enabled, intake you log can be written to Apple Health, and water logged by other apps can be imported into Liquid Drinking Planner.
- Health data is exchanged solely between your device and Apple Health. It is governed by Apple's privacy protections and is never transmitted to us or any third party.
- You can revoke Health access at any time in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices, or turn the sync off inside the app.
Health data is never used for advertising, marketing, or shared with third parties.
Notifications
The app can send local reminders (for example, if you're behind on your goal, or if you exceed your daily limit). These are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device by iOS. No notification content is sent to an external server. You can disable any or all reminders in the app's settings, or in iOS Settings.
Sharing & export
You can export reports of your intake as text or CSV and share or print them via the standard iOS share sheet. When you do this, you control where the data goes (email, messages, printer, etc.). The app does not transmit reports anywhere on its own.
Third parties & tracking
The app contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics, and no third-party trackers. We do not sell, rent or share personal data — because we do not collect any. The app does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and does not perform any cross-app or cross-site tracking.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone. As all data remains on the device, no information about any user is gathered by us.
Your rights & control
Because your data lives only on your device, you are in full control of it:
- Access & edit: view and change any entry directly in the app.
- Delete: remove individual entries, or delete all data by uninstalling the app.
- Export: generate a text or CSV report at any time.
If you are in the EU/EEA, regulations such as the GDPR give you rights over your personal data. Since we neither collect nor hold your data, there is nothing for us to retrieve or erase on our side — these actions are performed entirely by you on your device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and post the revised version here. Material changes will be reflected in an app update where appropriate.
