Quick troubleshooting

Widget not updating?

The Home Screen widget refreshes after you log intake. If it looks stale, open the app once to force a refresh, then remove and re-add the widget if needed.

Health sync not working?

Make sure sync is enabled in the app's Settings, and that Liquid Drinking Planner has permission in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.

Not getting reminders?

Check that notifications are allowed in iOS Settings → Notifications, and that the individual reminders are turned on in the app's Settings.

Known issues

Things we're aware of

Default drinks stay in your old language after a language change

The built-in starter ("seed") drinks shown when you add an intake are created once, the first time you install the app, in whatever language your device is set to at that moment. They are not re-translated if you later change your device language.

So if you installed the app while your device was set to, say, English (United States) and then switch it to Dansk (Danish), the default drinks will remain in English.

Workaround: change your device language first, then delete the app and reinstall it. The default drinks will then be seeded in the new language. (Note: deleting the app also removes your locally stored intake history — export a report from the History tab first if you want to keep it.)

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where is my data stored?

Entirely on your device. Liquid Drinking Planner has no online account and no server — your intake history never leaves your iPhone or iPad unless you export or sync it yourself. See the privacy policy for details.

How do I change my daily limit?

Open the Settings tab and adjust your daily limit (in millilitres). The dashboard gauge and reminders update to match immediately.

Can I add my own drinks?

Yes. In Settings you can create custom drink types with their own name, icon, colour and volume. They'll be available for quick logging on the dashboard.

How do quick-add drinks get chosen?

The dashboard shows your four most-logged drinks automatically, so the ones you use most are always one tap away.

Can I export my history?

Yes — from the History tab you can export a text or CSV report and share or print it via the standard iOS share sheet.

Which devices and languages are supported?

Liquid Drinking Planner runs on iPhone and iPad. The interface is available in English and Danish, with the Home Screen name localised for several more languages.

Is the app free?
